2.10 Dwell Time: G04

Between two NC blocks you can interrupt the machining process for a defined period by inserting your own block with G4; e.g. for relief cutting.

Words with H.. are only used for times in this block, and dwell time is given as the word.

Example:

G04 H…                                                    ; Dwell time in seconds

Note:

Nubers after H accurate to two decimal places. G04 instruction requests separate block.
